AWSOME NEWS!
I got some news on three of my past horses.  According to the owner of LS Phantom Of The Opera, and Allens Tuxedo Joe, they did really well at the Bay State Live show.

Tuxedo Joe took 3rd Place Breed, and 4th Place Workmanship, while Phantom Of The Opera took 2nd Place Breed and Nan'd.  I also found out that Prom King, (owned by someone else) took 1st Place Workmanship and Champion in Custom Workmanship in Gaited Breeds, and Nan'd also.

TWH mare and stallion more progress:

She's finally getting her paint markings. And he's got a ton of color but is NOWHERE near the finish line. He's got shading and layering and highlighting to go.  He's really messy right now but that's expected for what he's going to be. The legs are really dingy from the pastel dust because I'm using those to hold on to him. He'll look totally different tomorrow night.

"Prom King" is ready to go!

Prom King the saddlebred is ready to go to his forever home.  I'll be putting him up for offers in MH$P tonight.  If he doesn't get any offers then he'll go to Ebay after 10 days..

Saddlebred and TWH get more color:

The TWH has his paint markings started.  The digital camera is on it's last legs.  The poor thing.  I have another used yet new to me digital camera arriving fresh from Ebay within days.  I hope that one works.  The seller seemed to have really good feedback. The last camera I bought actually was the second last one.  The first of the two last ones was defective from the second I got it and the seller knew it.  They just tried to hustle a buyer into buying their broken camera.  They refunded my money on it too.  And the stench of it.....the jerk went ahead and relisted it, and sold it again to someone else the second they got it back from me.....the nerve of some people's children, as my mom would say.
Anyway, the bright nuclear looking mark is the glare white coloring seems to be giving my camera nowadays.  The mane is looking really natural.

The Saddlebred stallion "Prom King" is getting richer and darker.

Still debating now on whether to even do him as a pinto saddlebred.I'm thinking about deep almost liver chestnut.  I do wannt do his face very dark with a flaxon mane and tail but whether to take the tail white and do some crazy paint markings I don't know now. I don't know.  I'll see what he just becomes.

American Saddlebred and TWH twin get some color:

The American Saddlebred stallion "Prom King" is getting his color started.  Forgive my camera. It's having a bad day.  For some reason everything is getting a glare and a green tint. 

The TWH twin has got his color now.  He's a golden champagne.  I'm possibly doing him as a Tobiano.too. I'm thinking maybe minimum tobiano markings or medium markings.  Nothing that puts more white on him than his gold color.  Again, my camera is making him look brassy and putting a huge glare on him with a green tint.  He's not really like that.  He's really not metallic.  And of course these are just the beginning stages of paint.  I put them up for the night. 

I do have another TWH in the works.  He's got his head turned more and he's newly sculpting right now. So he doesn't even have his back bulked up or half his TWH shape yet. Now,  Off to bed.

New "Sael" Totilas CM moving along after some major resculpting and other updates:

The Totilas CM whom I've named "Sael" is coming into his own little by little.  It's not an overnight process but it's moving along.  I new I was going to have to do something to those hind legs.  Well, after bending and unbending the hocks, I saw what was really the problem for now.  The rear wasn't up high enough.  I am praying I can get this guy to stand on his own with just the weight and leverage of his tail touching the ground to help so I wont have to make a base for him. After sculpting all that muscle to the rump, I had to hack it all off again and this time slide the hind legs back at the knees and pull him up to a standing up position.  I gave hi a new neck that will have to be dry shaped with sanding and buffing and possibly more apoxie.  He's got a chest now and most of his shoulders. I've got a lot more to tweak and resculpt.  But he's gone from one thing to another pretty quickly so I'm happy so far.  He's going to be a black bay stallion. Very black. Almost solid black with just a slight indication of reddish brown in the under-most areas.  I'm trying to decide on facial markings in my head now. But I've got a lot more to do.  I'm just working from the top down to the bottom. I'll start on the lower half later today when he's dried.

The walking cow has been getting some updates recently.  Thought I'd take pictures of her recent changes.  She's got udders sculpted and teats which have to be sanded and shaped.  She's had an ear reduction along with a new one sculpted. Her tail has more hair now and so does her forehead.

The American Saddlebred has been primed and is ready for paint.

I thought it would be kinda neat to take a picture of the TWH twin I did along with the Saddlebred model together because it shows just how different the two really are to be coming from the same Breyer model.  I put just as much work into changing the Breyer American Saddlebred model into a CM Saddlebred as I did turning it from a American Saddlebred OF to a Tennessee Walking Horse.

Totilas CM and Saddlebred Updates:

I've got more sculpting done to "Prom King" the saddlebred, and "Sael" (pronounced Sail) the brand new Totilas creation, I'm going to try and tweak Sael's back legs and see if they'd look better bent a little at the knee or if not put them back. I've got rearing horse references in all different ways.  Some are more squatting with thehind legs bend some and some are in that Peter Stone stretching rear positon.  Peter Stone, Bless em, you know they have one of the most beautiful arabians around but I don't know what they wewre thinking when they made the rearing horse.  They can't even give those things away either.  they need to make an all new rearing model.  I know what they were trying to do with that pose but they missed it. Completely.  
But good news.  If you ever wanna make a cm of a horse hanging by his hind foot, just turn it upside down.

I'm at that phase where I build it up, look at the wrong parts, sand it back down, then rebuild it back up til it looks right. I did go back after i took these shots and bent his front leg more.
