"Mr. Shultz" Completed:

Well, the Hackney stallion "Mr. Shultz" is completed pretty much.  I do wanna go back and re-spray seal him in Tester's Dull Coat instead of the Matt spray I used.  It's still humid from all the moisture from the rain and I don't like it as well.  But I went ahead and made his halter and everything.  He'll be listed possibly in Ebay within the next couple days.

I have a set of shoes, but i don't know if they will work with his feet having to lock into that base the way it is so he can stand.  I don't know if I can fit the shoes to him or not.  I will check and see.  

Here he is so far.  I haven't done the full photo shoot for him yet but these are just a few pictures of him right now. 

"Mr. Shultz" Nearing Completion:

The Hackney's got a name and yellow braid bands! lol.

"Mr. Shultz" is almost completed but still has more to go.

Hackney Gets Color:

The hackney is finally getting color.  So are my clothes.  lol  I'm planning to go much darker and richer.  But here he is so far.  I didn't get every single layer but I got some of them to show how he went darker.  Most of the layers were so faintly different it was hard to tell, so I skipped a few in between for pictures.  Here he is start to finish. 

Even though he's not done yet, so it's start to .....right now. 

He will be available as a MH$P Buy It Now before going to Ebay.  If he doesn't get any offers he'll go to Ebay.

He'll have a halter when he's completed, and the base. I think he'll make a great show piece hitched to a harness and cart.

Hackney, ASB Stablemate, "Capricorn" Updates:

Well, the Hackney is primed, sanded, and ready for paint.  So excited. 

And the ASB Stablemate is completed.  He'll be in Ebay tonight, I think. 

And here is "Capricorn" with his rock base painted. 

Hackney Updates:

He's ready for sanding and priming.  I LOVE him!  He's going to be a deep mahogany bay with a large star and two socks I think.  That's what I'm picturing.

I also have the little ASB stablemate deep in the painting phase. 

He's cute too.  I didn't think I'd do him this color but I have done so many plain chestnut sorrel, and palomino Saddlebreds I just wanted to be a little more colorful this go around.
