Finished the TWH finally. After months of working on this one. I've been shooting little bits of video as I go to update and editing the clips into the main video periodically. I shot it with my digital camera on the video setting, so it's not the best quality and it's a bit shaky, but I included pictures at the very end to show the final result and I'll add those here also.
Here are the pictures of this portrait TWH model. She will be available for offers within the next day or so.
Well more color yet for the mare and an update on that portrait model TWH I've been working on for months now. I'm using the progress of this TWH for a video step by step tutorial. This if anyone remembers is the same TWH I used for the sculpt video. This is the exact horse from that video showing the sculpting customizing phase of my TWH's.
The Arabian has now got some black spots on her face and muzzle and also had her roots done. lol.
And here is the TWH.
Oh, and I also painted a resin Puppy figurine into a German Short-Haired Pointer Puppy.
Here's another couple of pictures from today's work. I know this looks like a backwards update because she had pinking on the muzzle before and now it's solid white. I had to make her face more opaque anyway, so it was hard to layer around the pinking. So I just evenly coated her muzzle white. I really only added a bit of pink early just to see how she'd look anyway. So what I will do is more than likely once she is done, shade the muzzle with pink pastels and then add the black spots and freckles to her nose and muzzle. I also added more white all the way up to the corner of her eye. I don't know how much white I will do or where i'll leave it at. I keep adding it til it looks right. I want her to have a lot of loud white coloration.
I'll never forget the trip to go get him. We drove all the way to Rome, GA. It's funny the places we've traveled to get our dogs. London, Kentucky....Rome, Georgia. He was Cricket's dad.
Teddy was 14 this year. This year we've lost Trixie, Cookie, Piglet, and now Teddy.
It's the only thing I hate about dogs......they get old. I think our government needs to come up with a way to stop that from happening. Obamacare, Taxes, The Deficit, Terrorism, Social Security. I'd be willing to let all that other stuff go...... Just do that one thing, and I'll be happy. I promise.
The 1/6 Scale Filly Foal is DONE! Finally. I took a couple of shots of her just to update the blog, but her eye gloss is still a little wet, and so I didn't take the full set of photographs of her for the site yet. She'll be in MH$P tomorrow night and if she doesn't sell there, she's off to Ebay.
I'm so gonna miss this one. And I can't wait to do another lounging foal like this one only in a black or dark bay coloration. Who knows, maybe palomino. Appaloosa? But anyway, she's completed.
The Arabian is getting some loud color too. I've done the first stages of the rabicana markings but I've got a long ways to go yet. It looks really sloppy right at the moment, but it's supposed to look that way. I'm doing the white ticking in layers. But this is after all progress photos. I did antique the mane and tail once, but it will be done again a couple more times for a darker color.
