Random Fun Post:

Mostly I blog on my updated models and artwork.  I'm working still on a TWH standing and I'm extra excited about a Stud Spider I've got coming that I'm gonna go awesome appy with.  Don't wanna miss that! 

The Grammys just aired and of course it wouldn't BE the Grammys unless Kanye West makes a public ass out of himself ....AGAIN.  He rushes up onstage again this time when Beck is accepting his award.  He quickly plays it off as if to say "Nahh, just joking"  then leaves the stage quickly.  However, he blasts Beck outside to a reporter because Beyonce didn't win the award...again, and thought she deserved it more.  So his intentions to crash Beck's moment were there, he just chickened out at the last minute but still managed to disrupt the moment for Beck.  I think the next time the Grammy's airs they need to put up a baricade to block Kanye from going onstage.  A big STREET SIGN should be sufficient in stopping him.  It's worked in the past! 

 Jack-Ass Of The Day

The Walking Dead started back up again last night.  R.I.P. Tyrese.  I had no idea they'd kill someone off the first episode. I knew it would be either him or his sister to go next though. They've just introduced Noah to the cast and the rest are veterans and they wont kill them yet.  They'll wait for the season's end for one of them to go.  The only secondary characters they could kill off right now are Tyrese and his sister, or well, maybe one of those chicks with Abraham's crew.  But I think for the end of this season finale, when they kill off a regular cast member....one of the veterans.  I think it'll be Carol.  She's played out.  It's time for her to go.  I think once you've contributed all you can contribute to it, then it's time.  It was time sad as it was though for Hershal when they killed him off, same with Andrea, and I think now Carol's usefulness as a contributing character has come to an end.  Though I've missed the mark before. 

The BAFTA awards were also on last night.  To the cable channel BBCAmerica  I would like to say from the absolute bottom of my heart personally...  

YOU SUCK!

For editing out Tom Hiddleston's award presentation, and the sole reason why I both watched the damn broadcast, and taped it to the DVR as well.  You didn't think I actually watched it to see Eddie Redmayne beat Bennedict Cumberbatch again did you?

"LS Texas Hold Em" is ready for the shows:

He's done!.  He's gonna be amazing on the show tables.  He really commands attention. His color is so loud!  I love it. He didn't turn out half bad even if I do say so myself. I'm picturing him with turquoise though.  The blue halter really adds to his coloring too.  I thought black would be better but the blue just looked cool.  He's in MH$P now.  Below is the link to his ad. New Pegasus is complete:

He's got a new base with greenery and everything.  He's looking lovely.  I will have some more pictures of him as soon as my camera batteries charge.  They went dead right in the middle of taking shots of him so I just have a few. 

Western Pleasure and a new TWH in the works:

The APH Western Pleasure model is nearing completion.  I still have some fine tuning to do yet and i want to smooth out the white paint areas a little.  

I like the blue and brown eye a little better now but it's still not right. I think he'd look really awesome in a silver and turquoise western tack set. Or maybe almost like a blackened silver tack set. 

And here's the new Tennessee Walker Horse.  It's in a rough state right now but it's coming along. I had been so busy with other stuff, I hadn't had time to work on this one. But I'm gonna get started back on this one asap. I'm not sure what it's gonna be.  Mare Stallion?  I was maybe toying with doing it as a Walkaloosa but I don't know. If someone decides they want him before he/she gets painted it'll be up to them and not me lol   It's definitely got a majestic pose. Maybe a mare??

New Pegasus and the Western Pleasure Horse Gets LOUD Color:

I don't like his blue eye so much, so I'm gonna repaint it.  I'm actually gonna do it cracked glass style with blue and brown mixed in the same eye but I'm just not liking the direction the pupil is going, so I'm gonna re-do that blue eye. It'll look better when I do I think. 

And here's the Pegasus.  I was going to fix it so he was attached from the back but that didn't work so well. I couldn't keep him from flipping upside down and every which way, so I put him on a acrylic rod and on a base.  It's better this way anyway I think. 

He's got to have some shading and antiquing yet. This is just the base coat. 

Updated the Site's Menu:

Planning to add some more progress pictures within the next 24 hrs I hope.  Been busy updating the website's menu page.  It was just so many different pages. I added everything all on one page now, so it may be easier to navigate.  www.luvjeordiestudios.com   Go to Model Repaints, and it's all set up new.  Still working on any broken links.  If anyone has trouble with a page just going into nowhere, sometimes you can reload it or click backspace and it will show up. I don't know if it's the site's provider or my being on AOL that's doing it.  But if there are any troubles you can always email me and let me know. If the new menu page doesn't show up for you guys, just try wiping your history and that may help. Your computer is probably bookmarking to memory the last time you visited the site. 

Western Pleasure APH:

He's really flashy.  I haven't done his hind socks yet.  I have to hold on to him somehow while painting.  I have a lot of detailing to do to the spots and hairing and such.

But he looks nice.  He'll make a lovely Western pleasure horse.

Stablemate Commission Trio Completed, Kirin up for Offers, and Western Pleasure Gelding getting Colorful:
