Halloween is coming!:

Almost done with the Paint horse "Blue".  Although it's hard to see his eyes in the picture, they're painted now.  He's had his tail antiqued a little and his mane needs some more antiquing. His hooves are stripped and natural. His base needs to be covered in the greenery I have for it, and then he's hopefully done. I'll get the greenery on tonight.

And the Kirin is finally getting some color. I really like this little one. She's got a ways to go yet.

And finally I'm doing some pumpkins!!!!!!!!  I've done a Loki one and now I'm almost done with a Tom Hiddleston one. I've got to figure out what to do about the seam line thickness on the inside of the pumpkins where they join the two halves together when they cast them.  I think I'm just going to have to cut the hole in the bottom big enough to fit my whole hand in there to sand the darkness down til it lightens up on the bands where the seams would be.  It's leaving a dark area going around the pumpkin. I just didn't wanna leave such a huge hole in the bottom.  I only made it big enough to be able to change the light bulb when needed but I think it would look better without the darker bands on it.  I've got the Loki one listed in Ebay already. I'm still working on Tom though.  I'm going to have a Walking Dead Bicycle Girl one for Halloween and a David Bowie labyrinth one hopefully. Loki was the first ever pumpkin I've ever done like this. Not bad for a first attempt at a new type of art!

More on the Paint Horse and the English Setter:

Got some more layers of white on the paint horse.  With the layers having to be so thin it takes a while to get the white to cover. But he's coming. He's got shading on the face and some flesh in the nose.

The English Setter is just starting out. Looks alittle rough right now but will improve.

2014 Nightmare Series Stablemate Version of "Banshee":

Here's here!  The new Nightmare Series model for this Halloween season.  It's another Stablemate sized version of a Traditional piece.  As folks may remember I had the "Child's Play" rocking horse traditional Nightmare model earlier this year.  But this Halloween season there's the second stablemate version sized Nightmare ever done.  As I've always maintained and still do maintain, each Nightmare Series horse I as an artist make, is a single One Of A Kind piece. They are never available as commissions, to give everyone a chance to equally obtain one.  And I never make two of the same model.  Once a Nightmare Series horse creation is made, that's it.  The only one.  There was such a huge response to my Nightmare Series past creations that in order to revamp (no pun intended) the series without duplicating the same models ruining the uniqueness and individuality of them, I've decided to make when possible, a STABLEMATE mini version of some of the classic creations, preserving the One Of A Kind label as well as being able to do something to bring back the original.  But just like the Traditional sized originals, once these Stablemate versions are gone, they are also gone for good.  I wont make duplicate.  So some Nightmares may have a Mini version of itself out there somewhere. Just as unique and rare.  Last Halloween I made a mini version of "Dead Last",  the second creation in the Nightmare Series and by far the most popular of them all. This year, I've recreated a smaller version of the wild Mustang, "Banshee" howling on the cemetary hill by the haunting light of the moon.  This new little guy is the screaming image of the original and will be available Monday night October 6th, on MH$P with an opening offer of $200.00. He'll have a 10 day deadline. To view all the images of this little guy, go to www.luvjeordiestudios.com .  You'll find him in Model Repaints-Breyer Repaints- Horses- Series Collections- Nightmare Series, for those who aren't familiar with the site's layout.

Unpainted Mule Available:

Hello People,
I very rarely ever let models go unpainted.but in this case I'm making an exception.  This is a Molly Mule, either Standardbred, Missouri Foxtrotter, or TWH cross molly Mule available.  I will offer her unpainted for anyone who wants to paint her themselves, or have another artist paint it.  I normally don't offer unpainted Cm's, but on rare occasions if I have one and no time to paint it myself I will let it go that way.  I have a Molly Mule available for Offers on MH$P.  She may need some fine buffing with steel wool before final painting.  She's been primed in white primer.
Offer Deadline: October 9th 2014   10:00 PM Eastern Time
Please follow the link to the MH$P page  for more pictures.
